Card details are captured and stored by Stripe on its own PCI-DSS systems, not on our servers.

How Stripe payments work

    Raise the GST invoice

    Create the invoice from the job, with your ABN, line items, GST and payment terms already in place.

  2. 02

    Send the pay link

    Send the payment link by SMS or email, or take the card payment while the customer is at the counter.

  3. 03

    Record the payment

    The payment is recorded against the invoice, so the outstanding balance and reports stay in step.

Stripe questions

Does TyreShop Software store card details?

No. Card details are captured and stored by Stripe on its own PCI-DSS systems. TyreShop Software does not store full card numbers on our servers.

Can I send a pay-by-link?

Yes. Raise a GST tax invoice, then send a pay-by-link by SMS or email so the customer can pay by card. The payment is recorded against the invoice.

Does Stripe handle SMS billing too?

Yes. Messages over your monthly SMS allowance are billed through Stripe at A$0.12 each. Your plan includes 30, 100 or 500 SMS depending on tier, and the trial includes 50 free SMS.

Does this sync to accounting software?

Not yet as a live accounting sync. Every invoice is a GST tax invoice with your ABN, and you can export customers, invoices, products, payments and work orders to CSV for your bookkeeper.
